李超指出，总的看，中欧班列构建了一条全天候、大运量、绿色低碳的新通道，已经成为广受欢迎的国际公共产品。从市场选择看，中欧班列运输受自然环境影响小、稳定性较高，价格是航空的1/5，运行时间是海运的1/4，受到不少客户青睐。从服务范围看，中欧班列联通境内125个城市，通达欧洲25个国家227个城市、亚洲11个国家超过100个城市，服务网络基本覆盖亚欧大陆全境。从贸易合作看，中欧班列运输货品达5万多种，涉及汽车整车、机械设备、电子产品、防疫物资等53大门类，2023年运送货物货值占中欧货物贸易比重超过7%，截至目前累计发送货物超过1100万标箱、货值超过4200亿美元，为中外数万家企业带来了商机，为沿线数亿民众送去了实惠。
